Merisi Waterfall is one of the most water-rich waterfalls in Ajara. It is located in the village of Merisi, Keda Municipality, approximately 50 kilometres from Batumi. The waterfall is accessible by car, followed by a short 100-metre walking trail. Cascading from a height of approximately 30 metres down a rocky cliff, the waterfall creates a spectacular natural setting surrounded by lush forests.

During the hot summer months, visitors can swim and cool off in the natural pool beneath the waterfall. The road leading to Merisi Waterfall passes through picturesque mountain valleys and charming rural landscapes, making the journey itself an enjoyable experience. The surrounding area is for hiking, photography, picnicking, and discovering the local culture. Nearby family-run restaurants offer visitors the opportunity to taste traditional Ajarian cuisine and locally produced natural products.
