I could go on and on about this city, its people, the sea, and the tangerine and lemon gardens. I feel fortunate to have been born and live in this city, a place that can offer immense love. The sunsets in Batumi are golden," the designer shares in one of their publications.
Designer Goga Nikabadze hails from Batumi, growing up in an artistic environment. His mother worked at a theater in Batumi, so he often spent time there. "My grandmother was a designer who owned a wedding dress salon, where she crafted her own designs and took orders. I was captivated by the beautiful details in her studio. I attended a theater studio where musical plays and musicals were staged, and I drew and designed the costumes myself. As I grew older, I shifted from singing to fashion. If you watch my shows and read the articles about me, you'll notice that my creations are inspired by my homeland," the designer reveals in an interview.
