Dolphinarium – A Magical Encounter with Marine LifeDolphinarium
One of Batumi’s most cherished attractions, the Dolphinarium has become a true symbol of the city, drawing both locals and visitors with equal delight. Originally opened in 1975, it was among the largest dolphinariums in the world at the time. After a temporary pause, the Batumi Dolphinarium reopened in 2011 and continues to welcome guests with its unforgettable shows.
Here, audiences can experience the intelligence, charm, and playful nature of dolphins and sea lions up close. The Dolphinarium also features a demonstration aquarium, showcasing Black Sea and Georgian freshwater species along with around 100 types of ornamental fish.
The amphitheater, designed for 887 spectators, is divided into four sectors and includes ramps and elevators, making it accessible for visitors with special needs.
A visit to the Batumi Dolphinarium is more than a show—it’s a chance to connect with the wonders of marine life and create lasting memories.
