Nestled 1120 meters above sea level, you'll find the ski resort of Gomarduli. It's situated 8 km from the center of Shuakhevi and 65 km from Batumi. The resort experiences its first snowfall in December, which persists until the end of March, often reaching a snow cover of up to 2 meters.
Gomarduli resort offers visitors the chance to ski on a 300-meter long trail facilitated by a hand rope. Ski equipment and various accessories are available for rent on-site. Besides skiing, both adults and children can partake in a variety of games and activities. The resort village primarily comprises small wooden houses and family-style hotels where you can spend the night and taste local delicacies like Borano and Kaimaghi. The resort also features five family-style furnished cottages and a restaurant.
