At the Selim Khimshiashvili Museum in Nigazeuli, you'll find ancient ornaments preserved among the 367 exhibits on display. Founded in 2003, this museum showcases beautiful carpets adorned with intricate designs, as well as geometric paintings and floral images on canvas and linen. Hand-knit socks featuring geometric patterns are another highlight of the region's craftsmanship.
The Oladauri Museum, established in 1996, houses 1,850 historical exhibits, including traditional Georgian and Ajarian ornaments, ethnographic materials, documents, and photographs.
Other notable museums in Shuakhevi Municipality include the Khabelashvili Ethnographic Museum and the Kviakhidze Historical-Ethnographic Museum. The Khabelashvili Museum, founded in 2017, is home to 181 exhibits, while the Kviadze Museum, established in 1998, showcases 1,496 exhibits.
