Ethnographic Museum “Borjgalo”
Discovering the unique residential and agricultural buildings, traditional crafts, and local way of life in the Ajara region has never been easier, thanks to the Ethnographic Museum "Borjgalo."
This museum showcases household and agricultural artifacts, architectural models, and, most notably, a vibrant display of folk music and songs. Visitors can observe figures depicting people from various occupations, dressed in traditional attire and surrounded by relevant symbols and work tools. Each figure and model is the creation of "Borjgalo" founder Kemal Turmanidze.
Besides its exhibits, the museum features 3,000 square meters of lush greenery, walking paths, and even waterfalls. Offering both educational and historical value, the museum also provides a stunning environment for visitors to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the region.
