Housed in a custom-built residence dating back to 1873, this museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the past.
Twice a year, the Khimshiashvili House-Museum hosts exhibitions showcasing paintings and artwork from the Khulo Art Gallery and local students. Additionally, the venue frequently organizes film screenings and discussions, as well as conferences and lectures, creating a vibrant cultural hub for visitors.
The museum boasts an impressive collection of 535 items, including paintings, sculptures, numismatic pieces, applied art, and various household and ethnographic materials. Photo materials, documents, and scientific and auxiliary literature also enrich the collection. Notably, the museum preserves the Khimshiashvili family's ancestral, personal, and household belongings, offering a unique insight into the history of the region.
